Borri Law Offices had extensive experience in representing parties in commercial and business litigation, including litigation involving sales agreements, financial instruments, dealer termination issues, partnership dissolution, shareholder derivative and securities fraud claims. Mr. Borri formulated the successful defense in a landmark New York Court of Appeals case, successfully defending a bank against a claim for more $2,000,000.00, by convincing the New York Court of Appeals to adopt a good faith purchase equitable defense that had not been previously recognized in New York.

Borri Law Offices is active in complex commercial collection matters and has expertise in pre and post-judgment strategies designed to collect funds from recalcitrant debtors including prosecution of actions to set aside fraudulent conveyances, pierce the corporate veil, and otherwise hold principals liable for corporate debts.

Bankruptcy Litigation

The Commercial and Creditor Rights practice at Borri Law Offices extends to representation of creditors and creditor committees in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy proceedings. Borri Law Offices has successful represented creditors in the defense of substantial preference actions, reclamation claims, acted as Special Litigation Counsel for the Trustee and represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors successfully negotiating substantial returns for unsecured creditors.
